What is The Lounge?

     
 

First, Manhattan Tech e-mail is the official mode of communication while you are a student. However, there are times when a secondary option is required. The Lounge may be helpful in the following situations:

  • If an e-mail response has not been received from the instructor within the timeframe indicated within the syllabus.  
  • To reach out to other students to verify any technical difficulties such as broken links or invisible items.

Questions?

As questions arise, the best way to contact your instructor is by using the Course Information page.
  • Look to the left and click Course Information
  • Once there, the e-mail address for the instructor is available as a link
  • Clicking the link brings up the e-mail tool within MATConline.  If you send an e-mail to your instructor, also send a copy to yourself.  This allows you to have record of the communication effort.
  • Remember, if a response is not received within the expected timeframe, please use The Lounge as a back-up method to get in touch.
